I have made a cake recently. I was having a "Cake Off" with a couple students in my Finite mathematics course. It is a junior/senior level course so I thought it would be appropriate for me to make something to commemorate their graduation. This was my first attempt for a basketweaving border. It is not all that hard but you have to take your time. I think it turned out great.

Here is a pic of some of my club members making our layout for April. I am so sorry that I have not been on my blog recently. I have been going through a lot of personal stress and I have been preoccupied. I haven't really even sat down and created anything recently. Which is werid because I consider my scrapbooking and creative time my therapy. So I am starting it again and will hopefully find time to post more soon.

I have been so out of it. I have been swamped with so much going on that I haven't had time to process. I finished the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyers..and let me say for my first set of books to read in 13 years..it was PERFECT!! I loved the story and how it was so easy to visualize what she was trying to say. I can't wait for all the movies to be made.

I am out of town this weekend and the National Educators Association State Meeting. BUT...if you want to take advantage of the new special for April and May you can email me and I will hook you up. The special and more details can be found on my CTMH website www.stlstamper.myctmh.com

Have a great weekend and I will try to get back to bloggin next week or so.

SO I know I have been quiet on the blog recently but I have a good reason for that. After 13 years of absences I have started reading again. My students have all been talking about Twlight and the series, so I thought I would watch the movie. It was cute and I watched it 3 times in one weekend...crazy. But when I returned it to the student she was so excited I liked the movie that she said I had to read the books that they were so much better. SO I thought and said ok...

Twilight took me less than a week reading every night for an hour or two. Then I started New Moon on Saturday morning while I proctored the ACT at work. I read again on Sunday and finished the novel. It was addicting. So I am going to be getting the other two today and it may take more than a week for them.

I have club for two evenings so again I will most likely be quiet during this time as well. Bu tI haven't forgotten about the blog. I just have found a new way to get some therapy instead of cutting and peicing things together.

Talk to you soon.

Well this is not CTMH paper but I saw this layout on a CTMH TV titled Crafting with kids. You can view tons of TV crafting specials on my website www.stlstamper.myctmh.com. They have great ideas and how to's on making some awesome product. I can't wait to make this layout and fill it with some phrase my boys say right now. This is a great spread to remember those phrases.

I needed some much needed theropy over break so I sat down and put together another page kit I got from Shannon Buck. I changed it for my layout..of course. The juniper (blueish) paper is pink on the other side but I don't really use pink in my book..that often..so I flipped it over. It is another great feature of CTMH paper..if you don't like one side flip it an use the other. I also used the stickease for the Unforgettable paper pack instead of the flower stamp sets instructed. I love the stickers because when you just don't have time to put alot of work into a great spread they are there to help you out.
