I am off to Seattle this morning but I wanted to post one more of my layouts before I go.

This is one of the layouts that we made at the Album Retreat and at first I loved the layout but didn't know how I would use it with the title "from Small beginnings come Great things". But one night the boys were playing and wrestling like they often do and I thought I should scrap this because it is such a great memory of the boys laughing and trying to take eachother down. In this occasion the boys were wrestling on my bed... not the best place I know. But when I got the pictures back and looked at the colors I knew this layout was the one I wanted to use. I didn't use any of the pictures of them flipping eachother over or Josh my younest being the one who actually dominates these moments from my tiny oldest son Caleb. Josh just has more muscle and he is dense. Caleb is tall and all arms and legs..but he is fast. Well enjoy the layout it is made from Emporium and uses a chipboard frame, Connections stamp set, sparkles, pretty pin, and some ribbon.

I am busy packing for my trip to Seattle this week. We leave on Thursday morning. There are a group of math teachers from my work that are going to learn more about the TI calculators and applications we can do with them in the classroom. Wow did that sound geeky!!! But I guess every once in a while I have to geek out and do something more math related since I love it so.

Here is a layout I made for a friend a few months ago and I decided it was soo good that I wanted to use it as my son's Valentine Party spread. It was my first party of his that I could join in the fun. I was the official photographer..probably because I am a the paparrazi in my kids life. Enjoy!!!

This weekend I took some time for a little therapy. I sat down Saturday morning and put some pages together that I had on hand and made some cards. I go the Ms. On the Go stamp set a few weeks ago and decided to play around and make some cards. The paper packs are older ones that I am trying to use up slowly. I started with the lady pushing a baby stroller because my cousin is coming to town and we are throwing her a shower. I have been on the planning committee securing a location and getting details. Well enjoy the cards and I will slowly put up pictures over the next week or so of the projects I put together. So check back.

It has been an interesting couple of weeks. I have been planning the Academic Pep Assembly at school. This assembly recognizes students with a 3.0 or better or students who have raised their gpa by 0.5. We also do Perfect Attendance. I purchase t-shirts for all the students who get recognized...this year I bought 1026 t-shirts and we have 1500 students. So that is AWESOME!! I have a group a students that are running the assembly and have been planning it with me. Which is good because I WON'T EVEN BE THERE!!! I am not happy about this. I am doing all this work and I can't even see it executed. I will be in Seattle at my Calculator Conference. However the kids are excited and I am stressed out. It is hard to plan something you can't see and then I even have to plan my lessons for the days I won't even be here for. I am not sure if this is a fair deal but hey..that's my life.

So that is the reason that I have been silent these last few days and probably the next week. But I do have one good thing that happened this morning... I won a free paper pack and stickease from Close To My Heart. Well I must go...I have more planning to do.

This is the Notebook paper pack and the Love Language Stamp set. It is a Swinger card. There is a peice of a paper inside with a penny attached at the bottom and it is attached to the big heart through a cut out circle with a pop dot. It lets the heart swing freely. My husband asked "Are there an my swingers out there?" I told him..."as if!!" Happy Valentine's Day.

So this weekend I played some more and came up with these from the scraps of a kit I recieved from another consultant. The pictures aren't permanant I just put them on there for display purposes. I love the way these came out with just scraps...!! The second one is a replica of a spread we made at the Album Retreat. But now I have one for both of my boys. Now I just wish I had one for my scrapbook and not just theirs.

I got a kit from a fellow consultant Shannon Buck and it used my favorite paper pack from the new catalog...Stardust. I love this paper..probably because I have boys. I changed the cards a bit so I could save all my flexi labels for a page that I wanted duplicate from the CTMH album retreat.

I love the layout and I can't wait to use this. I am working on making a couple more layouts with the scraps that I have from this. Well today I am going to work on that after I go shopping with my mom and sister. We'll see if I can find anything super cute.

This is a paper pack that was last years Heart of Winter Campaign. I made my opening page of 2008 scrapbook with this so I thought I should end it with it as well. Here is a layout from Reflections that I used. Everything is CTMH except the wire "love". The stamp is from the Album Retreat stamp set called Enjoy the Trip. I love the way this turned out.

This layout is for Josh's Scrapbook. I made this layout using our Level 1 Aspen paper pack. Now normally Level 1 is beginner since it has pre-printed paper and comes with matching stickease to help spruce it up. But every once in a while I like to get it and show that you can take a Level 1 and turn it to a level 3 layout. I added journalling tags under the photos on the left side using stickers as the pull tags. I put liquid glass on those 3 buttons to make them look real and a couple drops on the right side layout to make the brads look real as well. His pictures turned out sooo good. . He is Priceless!!

I put this layout together for a club that I did in December using the Aspen paper pack as well. I used the November Stamp set of the Month Decked Out to make the snow man and there is a creative clip decorated above the large photo on the left side. The journal box was created using the dermacoat paint that CTMH sells. I love this layout!!! This goes in Caleb's book.
