Well this is not CTMH paper but I saw this layout on a CTMH TV titled Crafting with kids. You can view tons of TV crafting specials on my website www.stlstamper.myctmh.com. They have great ideas and how to's on making some awesome product. I can't wait to make this layout and fill it with some phrase my boys say right now. This is a great spread to remember those phrases.

I needed some much needed theropy over break so I sat down and put together another page kit I got from Shannon Buck. I changed it for my layout..of course. The juniper (blueish) paper is pink on the other side but I don't really use pink in my book..that often..so I flipped it over. It is another great feature of CTMH paper..if you don't like one side flip it an use the other. I also used the stickease for the Unforgettable paper pack instead of the flower stamp sets instructed. I love the stickers because when you just don't have time to put alot of work into a great spread they are there to help you out.

It has been a crazy week this past one. I have been on spring break but it was anything but a break. I cleaned and cooked. But I did find time for walks with my youngest Josh is turned 3 on Sunday. I spent all weekend cleaning up toys and baking/decorating this cake. It was about 3 inches heigh and I "stared" the whole thing with icing and even put a train track on it for him.

I joked around with my Geometry students about how the topic of circles was really helpful in making this cake. I had to cut it at it's diameter..the biggest cord. and then cut some concentric circles..arcs using the same center point in basic terms and even made sure my arcs were the same measure.. See there is a perfect example of math in life. lol..!

I saw this idea on the CTMH bullentin board but it was inspired by the Splitcoast stamper website. The link for a tutorial is http://dianagibbs.typepad.com/stampin_with_di/2008/06/box-in-a-bag-tutorial.html?cid=119646038

I made this from scraps of the Stardust kit I recieved. It did take awhile for the first time doing it. I wouldn't cut the paper that wraps around the inner box smaller than 5x12. The directions say to cut it to 5x11 but it barely wraps then and not really enough for adhesive. However the decorative peice I scalloped using the corner rounder cut to 1x11 so it meets perfectly in the back. Enjoy!!!

This is the scrapbook page I made today for my trip to Seattle. My title is a funny story. My oldest went to school the day that I left and told his teacher I went to see some guy on a plane. When my hubby arrived she asked if everything was ok.. Dan said sure.. why? She told Dan the statement and he started to laugh. He told her I went to Seattle..Caleb then said yeah..that's his name Attle. It is a fitting title for the spread. This is made from the Perfect Day paper pack.

This is a layout I made for the crop this weekend. The women loved it! It is the Whoops -a-daisy paper and the Headline, chocolate stamp sets. I love the colors..even though I don't use them often in my books. I thought this would be good for a swimming page this summer. All of the white spots are for pictures so there are lots to be added.

This is a baby memories jar I made for a friend who is giving birth soon. I decorated an oatmeal container with paper from CTMH and cut the fish and seaweed from a cricut cartridge. The poem reads, " Baby books are great ideas, but sometimes you're too busy.Living with a little onecan put you in a tizzy.Milestones pass too fast at timesto find the proper page. So, jot a note of each eventwith date or baby's age(like "Took 3 steps on May the 1st"or "Teething -- 5 December")then drop it in this Memory Jar to help you to remember!"

I wrapped a pen and fake flower with floral tape and put some index cards in the container for my friend to start her memories. I saw this idea from my sister who gave it to my cousin and I thought it was a perfect sentimental gift.

I have been so busy with wrapping up school and getting to Spring Break that it has been impossible to scrapbook or to create anything. I am in a funky mood..probably depressed and have had a lot going on. My cousins came in from the Chicago area. One has moved to England with her husbands job and she is now pregnant. So when they came this weekend I with a her sister and mine planned a shower for her. It was at the local tea house and was so girly. Then we came back here and had oh...about 12 bottles of wine. Let's just say it was a good night. Maybe I should take a picture of all the empty bottles. ..hehe. Luckily they spent the night so it was nice to have them here for awhile. Then I had a baby shower on Sunday for my friends that adopted a baby from Russia...so cute!! So needless to say I had a busy weekend and I have a busy week ahead. I will probably be quiet again till next week since I have a crop this weekend and another baby shower.

An Easter page made with the Connections stamp set, Headline Alphabet, Emporium Creative Paper Pack. I got this idea from the Close To My Heart website. I love this but the flower took a lot of work and the border is made with a brayer (not an easy task). The title in this one is stamped in Sweet leaf and then I rolled the letters in Twilight to give a new dimension.

I got some inspiration from the CTMH bulletin board and this is what I created from the March Stamp set of the Month Butterfly Wings. The paper is the Emporium Creative Basics paper pack..which is designed for card makers. I love the way this card just pops.

Well I had some pictures of some random moments of January and February and I wanted to include them in the family scrapbook. So I picked all my photos out and tried to think how I could even put them together. Then I thought I had a layout already made from the Perfect Day paper pack and it held alot of photos. As I laid out the photos I moved them around a few times till I found spots that looked like a good fit for each photo...it was perfect.

Now as I type this I realize that this was just random moments of the life and I used the Perfect Day paper..that is ironic. I thought these needed no explaination so there is no journalling.

I am home and back to work. We had a great time in Seattle learning new things and activities to use in the classroom. We did go to a few clubs and the last night was great...however the plane ride home was a little rocky. But I have been so busy trying to get back in the swing of things and back to work. speaking of swing to things check out these cards I made.

Here are a couple cards I made a week or so ago with the March Stamp Set of the Month. These are called "swinger" cards. There is pop dot holding the butterfly to a pendulum on the inside of the card. I took some pictures so you could see how to make it. Between the folded peice of cardstock in the inside of the card is a penny to give weight so that when you shake the card the image swinges back and forth.
